Students will receive access to six training manuals, online classes and additional resources.
All students receive individual mentoring with fully qualified Ayurveda and Yoga Practioners.
Students will be required to complete practically based assessments to obtain competency.
Material covered in this unit of competency provides an overview on the history and philosophies of Ayurveda and Yoga.
Students will develop knowledge of Ayurveda nutrition to include but not limited to;
-10 opposing pairs,
-Agni and Ama
with the skills and knowledge required to educate clients about;
-how to select, prepare and consume food practices to complement your Yoga Practice,
-coach students on Ayurveda Nutrition and
-develop & deliver workshops on Ayurveda
The unit of competency includes the following;
-facilitating the development of, and modelling of Nutrition
-eating rituals for prepared food to enhance yoga practice
On Graduation Students receive a Statement of Attainment from RTO30798 providing a recognisable qualificaton to teach clients to integrate Ayurvedic cooking practices into their Yoga classes.
Graduates complete the pre-requisite to continue into the Diploma of Ayurveda Yoga Teaching (10579NAT).
This unit of competency is available for students who have completed Teach the Integration of Ayurvedic Nutrition to Enhance the Practice of Yoga.
